I
started drawing and painting when I was nine years old. While studying at the School
of Fine Arts, guided by an aquarellist mother, I achieved my first art
exhibition at the age of eleven.
It’s also in my native country, Romania, that I received my professional training as an architect. Practicing this profession during more than fifteen years, I have succeeded in mastering perspective and can recreate a third dimension in my paintings: depth.
Since establishing in Québec in 1990, I completed studies in interior design at the University of Montreal and enriched my artistic experience through workshops with renowned Canadian artists.
A founding member of the Saint-Laurent Artists' Association, I participate in many exhibitions annually, at which I have received numerous awards. I am also an active member of the Atelier d'Aquarelle Le Partage and the Table ronde sur l'art de Mont-Royal (TRAM).
As a professional artist, I devote my time entirely to painting. Travels, music and the various cultures of visited countries inspire me and allow me to translate my emotions into vibrant colours, dynamic gestures and rich textures, through many artistic mediums: oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor and mixed mediums, creating each time a world open to imagination.
The world of abstract art knows no limits and offers shapes and emotions as unique as each one of us.
With time, I have had the opportunity of sharing my art beyond the borders of Québec, and today, I consider myself privileged to create works which are appreciated all over the world.
